Meet Your Coach

Hi, I’m Neils—founder of V2R Academy and a lifelong advocate for social change. I was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia, the son of Ghanaian immigrants, and grew up deeply aware of the social and economic inequalities that exist in our communities. That awareness fueled my passion for education and economic justice. Over the past decade, I’ve served as a Program Manager, Executive Director, and Regional Director across national nonprofits, charter schools, and global education initiatives. I’ve built and led nonprofit boards, managed million-dollar budgets, and coached hundreds of founders through the journey of starting their own organizations. I hold a BA from UNC-Chapel Hill and an MS in Nonprofit Management from Northeastern University—but more importantly, I bring real-world experience, cultural insight, and a heart for helping others make their vision a reality.
